
Fillet steak with Amarone
SERVES 1
Preparation 5 minutes
Cooking 10 minutes
150ml of young Amarone wine or other Italian red wine
1 fillet steak
25g unsalted butter
1 tbsp plain flour
Bring the Amarone to the boil in a pan. Cover the butter with the flour and immerse in the wine. Let it melt until it becomes a thick sauce.
Meanwhile, grill or fry the fillet steak according to your taste. Then add to the red-wine sauce in the pan.
Serve with pan-fried potatoes and grilled vegetables.
